Therapy for constipation

What is Constipation?

Constipation is a common phenomenon characterized by the slow transit of the stools. The bowel movement is less frequent and less in amount, and the stools can often be hard and pebble-like. Abdominal bloating or pain is often accompanied by constipation.

Treatment for Constipation

When treating constipation, a whole-body treatment approach is necessary. The assessment takes into account tissue tension, body alignment, body awareness, and the function of the autonomic nervous system. In addition to gentle hands-on treatment, patients will be instructed on exercises to restore motility and balance the nervous system.
